Our Coaching Philosophies
Founded in 2008, Paddle 2 Fitness has successfully delivered a polarising training program regime, better known as ’80/20′ training. We believe it is essential for our paddlers to build a strong aerobic system where the body learns to burn fat as the main energy source utilising The 180 Formula. We have thirty years on the water experience and follow research from leading experts in the field like Dr Phil Maffetone and Dr Stephen Seiler. Trust us and we will improve your performance.
Why Should I Do This?
Paddle 2 Fitness programs will help answer the question most paddlers ask, “what should I do today and how should I do it”. With a professionally written and balanced training program, we will calculate your current training paces (KM/H and HR). This will give you three training levels to train at. Our daily training sessions make your life simple by giving you the number of sets, minutes and training levels. All you have to do is paddle.
What’s Right For Me?
From 1st April 2020 until our new Paddle 2 Fitness Program platform is build, we will be offering a professionally designed weekly program. Each week you will get up to 5 paddling sessions, 1-2 gym / cross training sessions and other things along the way. We aim to have you paddling 10-15kms on average each paddling session however his will be governed by your current pace.
If you can only do 2 or 3 sessions per week, we will let you know which of the weekly sessions you should do.
How Do I Get Started?
While we continue to build our new online platform, we are offing access to the training programs up until end of May 2020. After which time we will update you on the progress / next steps.
Simply click the button below and pay for the remaining weeks to the current month or a whole month. We will then add your email address to our database and email you your weekly program every Sunday at 2pm (Queensland, Australia Time).
The offical program stared 6th April 2020 but you can enter / start at anytime. We have designed the programs so paddlers can start in the current training week at any skill level and any fitness level. The programs are custom to your training zones. To get you ready, we have added below what we would like you to do up to 5 days pre starting on a Monday.
