Welcome to our Paddle 2 Fitness Paddling Training Plans.

What are our Coaching Philosophies?
Since 2008 we have coached our paddlers on the MAF Method with amazing year on year results. Not only have we taught paddlers, surf life saving clubs and general athletes a better way to train, we have also produced Australian and World Champions as well as coaching 40+ male and female paddlers to make their first National Teams.

What is the MAF Method?
Put simply, it's breaking your training speeds down into three speeds. First speed is your slow twitch speed (ie 85%), second is your fast twitch speed (105%) and the Maximal speed. With this information you train within the 80/20 rule. Meaning your training 80% of your time at the 85% speeds and 20% of you time at the 105% / Max speeds. In addition to this, we follow the 180-age rule as well.

How do you work this out?
We ask you to do a Time Trail over a specific distance each 4-6 weeks. Once you have a time for the Time Trail, you simple put the time into our Paddle 2 fitness Speed Calculator. This will give you your 85% and 105% training speeds for the next 4-6 weeks. Once you have trained at these speeds for this period, we ask you to do the Time Trail again and enter the new time into the Speed Calculator.

What's the right Plan for me?
PERFORMANCE PADDLING PLAN
Our pre set 12 week PERFORMANCE Paddling Plans will allow you to train when you can, follow a incremental week by week plan which we guarantee will have you in top physical shape for your chosen event. Once registered, you will be able to elect either 10km, 15km, 20km or 30-50km Paddling Plans. Please note that you can only access one of these Paddling Plans at once. In addition to the Paddling Plans, we will give you access to several Podcast videos, gym and cross training options, support, diets and purchase discounts.

PREMIUM PADDLING PLAN
Our PREMIUM Paddling Plan will enable you to follow our latest weekly sessions with various target distances and up and coming events*. The PREMIUM Plan option will give you a variety of sessions, distances and targets and are the for paddler who would like a continual 12 mont and have full access to everything in the Membership Site. This will including a number of cross training and gym sessions, all our podcasts on video* and bigger discounts on purchases.

PLATINUM PADDLING PLAN
For our local paddler (Gold Coast / Brisbane) we are offering the PREMIUM Plan as well as unlimited access to our weekly squad sessions.

Balance Body & Mind

Extra Physical Activity

While paddling is our prime focus, introducing a range of cross training routines including running, swimming and gym are sum extra physical activities we can help you with. Coaching is thinking outside the box and finding new ways to improve your endurance and power.

Technique & Performance

One cannot go without the other. Firstly we will make you a more efficient paddler, improve balance / technique and then help you improve performance. Goals are not achieved over night, we are here for the long term.
