Pacific Ocean Series #2 – Paddle 2 Fitness Extreme Challenge

Pacific Ocean Series #2 – Paddle 2 Fitness Extreme Challenge

Powered by BLAST TIMING

Sunday (27th May) will see the PACOS paddlers head to Brunswick Heads, NSW for what will be the best ever off water festival of paddling seen at an event.

As well as racing in the second PACOS event for the season (an 18km race), paddlers can also enter into the 10km sprint (starting at 9.30am) or a fun paddle with the kids (starting at 7.30-9.30am).

PACOS welcomes the opportunity to come and help the Mullum2Bruns paddling festival be bigger and better than every before. Previous years have seen numbers up towards 600 competing in the fun and sprint 10km formats. PACOS hopes to add another 150 to this number with its regular participates and those new paddlers looking for exciting new events.  This event will be open to ocean / SLSA skis, OC’s, SUP, K1’s and all double craft.

Important Information

Paddlers please remember that some categories have a $500 prize purse for the series winners ($2500 total cash pool). Points will be earned throughout the season, no minimum number of events have to be entered. If you choose to change categories at anytime, your points will not be carried over i.e. you paddle K1 at a river event and then ocean ski for the open water events. If you want a chance of winning your category then always re-enter the same category each event.

A number of last years participates requested more river and semi open water events which this years series has delivered. We hope you now feel more comfortable in attending events and encourage other paddlers in your squad to come with you.
